We can half-sole or full sole your dress shoes with either leather or your choice of rubber tread styles from our large selection. If you are not sure which sole you should choose, we can assist you in making the best choice for your unique footwear situation. We can convert leather-soled shoes to soft-soled for added cushion, like the ones Rockport, Cole Haan, and Allen Edmonds have. The work order form at the bottom of this page just contains a basic price listing, your possible sole choices are not shown.
Most of our customers choose to save money by getting half-soles because Randolph does such a smooth, professional job that it takes someone who knows where to look to find the joint line. If the shoes are welt construction, we pick the old stitches out and sew the new stitching back in the original holes to make your shoes look 'factory'. Your sole edges and heel bases are refinished to their original smoothness, then your shoes are cleaned and shined free of charge when you are getting both heels and soles at the same time. We would like both of us to be pleased with the way your 'new' shoes look!
Some customers will require, or may just simply prefer, full soles. This also necessarily includes new rubber or combination leather & rubber heels. You have leather, as well as a broad selection of rubber full soles from which to choose. Again, there are many choices, just ask us.
We don't quote rates for repair of welt or upper damage until we see the shoes. These types of repairs are truly custom work. We don't want to set a 'standard' rate because most of the time you would be over-charged in order to cover the extensive work some shoes might need. We don't believe you should be forced to subsidize someone else's repairs.
